What drives this price
PLEX trades on EVE's player-run Global PLEX Market like any other item, and its ISK price moves with the balance between two flows: players buying PLEX from CCP with real money to convert to ISK, and players selling ISK-earned PLEX for subscriptions or store items. Events that spike either side — expansion releases, skill injector sales, subscription promos, or large-scale null-sec wars that burn ships and demand replacement ISK — show up in the daily rate.
Long-term, the most consistent driver is the supply of PLEX listed for sale: whenever CCP's real-money PLEX sales and bundle promos are strong, more PLEX enters the market and the ISK price tends to soften. The inverse happens when subscription demand rises faster than new PLEX enters.
Because CCP moved all PLEX trading to the unified Global PLEX Market in 2025, this history is a single clean series with no station-by-station fragmentation — one of the cleanest market datasets in any MMO.
